Temple of Speed

This sculpture is a meditation on decay, neglect and devotion. On a grand scale, the artist creates a monument as an expression of unrelenting aspiration. The only thing that matters is speed. The derelict space underneath the temple is intentional, to make the viewer feel small and meaningless, to evoke feelings of worthlessness. Nothing else matters except for making the cars go fast.
